5.3 JUSTICE FOR VICTIMS
The Letters Patent require us to consider justice for victims. There are 3 are three avenues that may provide justice for victims, namely:
• the criminal justice system
• civil litigation
• redress schemes.

This is a timely reminder of what may be the options of taking CSA matters further. Each State Police have a ‘Child Protection’ who by default lodge Court Charges; Most Private Schools would have their experienced Legal Firm(s) to Claim with; National Redress Scheme is now the final option. The civil litigation & redress schemes are highly time consuming. Counselling is highly recommended!
